Job Description: The role will require the candidate to assist the Legal Counsel regarding a variety of funds and general company/commercial related issues.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Provision of legal advice and support to the business on global regulatory issues that arise in relation to the asset management services of Dimensional and the marketing of its funds.
- Review of and advice on terms of business and contracts relating to the marketing of funds.
- Advice in relation to Dimensional’s UCITS funds in the UK and Ireland.
- Provision of legal advice on and negotiation of IMAs.
- Assistance with general company secretarial duties.
- Assistance with HR related matters.
- Liaison with external counsel and the US legal team of Dimensional.
- Advice on supplier and general services contracts.
- Assistance in the day to day running of the legal department.
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer
- 1 PQE
- Financial services/banking background
- Commercially minded
- Risk awareness skills
- Diligent and organised approach
- Foreign language would be an advantage
