Patrick E. Carter brings to Dimensional over twenty years of experience in the defined contribution market. As vice president and head of defined contribution services, Pat develops and oversees Dimensional's strategy for the defined contribution market. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, he spent fifteen years at Merrill Lynch, where he managed their wholly owned subsidiary Howard Johnson & Company and worked with plan sponsors and consultants designing investment and administrative solutions for employer-sponsored plans. Pat earned a B.S. in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
