Walid A. Shinnawi brings over two decades of investment experience to his role as a regional director in the Institutional Services group, where his focus is on business development and client service. Prior to joining Dimensional in 2006, he advised financial institutions on portfolio and credit risk as a senior director for Moody's KMV. He was previously chief credit officer for Barclays Global Investors, director of equity and fixed income research for First Interstate Bank, and a research analyst for Security Pacific Bank.
A CFA Charterholder, Walid earned an MBA in finance from the University of California, Riverside in 1983 and a B.S. in respiratory therapy from Loma Linda University in 1981.
