The following is only a summary of the Fund. For a full description, please consult the Fund's prospectus.
The investment policy of the Global Core Equity Fund is to purchase securities of certain companies traded in global developed countries that Dimensional deems eligible. The Fund will generally be overweighted in small companies and in shares that Dimensional deems to be eligible value stocks, and underweighted in large growth companies. Companies are considered small primarily based on a company's market capitalisation. Securities are considered value stocks primarily because a company's shares have a high book value in relation to their market value. In assessing value, Dimensional may consider additional factors such as price-to-cash-flow or price-to-earnings ratios, as well as economic conditions and developments in the issuer's industry. The criteria that Dimensional uses for assessing value are subject to change from time to time. Generally, the fund may invest in a broad and diverse group of readily marketable shares of companies traded on principal exchanges in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
